ANA MARIA JANSEN FRANKEN

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Master degree in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, and PhD in Sciences (Microbiology) at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Ana Maria is titular researcher at Fundação Oswaldo Cruz. She has experience in the area of Parasitology, with emphasis in Protozoology of parasites, acting mainly on the following themes: Biology and Ecology of the cycles of transmission of trypanosomatids from domestic and wild mammals.

ANDRÉ LUIZ RODRIGUES ROQUE

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2002), a master's degree (2005) and a PhD (2009) in Parasitary Biology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. André is a Technologist in Public Health and Substitute Head of the Laboratory of Biology of Trypanosomatids (IOC/FIOCRUZ). He is a Young Scientist of Our State by FAPERJ since 2013 and Producer of the CNPq. He is currently Adjunct Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Parasitary Biology (CAPES 7), where he acts as permanent advisor. He acts as Academic Editor of Plos One and as a reviewer of more than 20 scientific journals. He has experience in the area of ​​Parasitology and Parasitic diseases of animals, with emphasis on the study of wild reservoirs of zoonotic agents, acting mainly on the following topics: Interaction Trypanosomatids-Natural hosts; Management of wild small mammals, Trypanosoma cruzi, Leishmania sp. and characterization of trypanosomatids.

CARINA ELISEI DE OLIVEIRA

Graduated in Biology Sciences at Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, Master in Veterinary Sciences at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro and PhD in Veterinary Sciences at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro. Carina is professor of Universidade Católica Dom Bosco and has experience in the fields of General Biology, with emphasis at Parasitology and Molecular Biology, acting mainly on the following themes: Plasmodium (Novyella) juxtanucleare, Gallus gallus, Hematozoan, Public Square Zoonosis, babesicidal chemotherapeutic, T. evansi, PCR-RFLP, detection of infective agents like Brucella sp., Leptospirosis and identification of yeasts with fermentative potential by molecular techniques.

DAVID RISCO

Dr. in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Extremadura, is a specialist in the health of kinetic species, currently enjoys a Research Researcher contract of the Torres Quevedo Program, co-financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (Ref.PTQ-14-06663). His doctoral thesis entitled "Characterization of infectious processes in wild boars of southwestern Spain" encompassed a total of 17 scientific papers that have been published in impact journals, and that deal with the repercussions that these diseases have on wild boar, on other animal species with the ones that coexist, and even man. During his Bachelor and Doctorate studies he has obtained numerous awards and recognitions.

PhD with collaborative period in Universidade de Aveiro (Advisor:Carlos Fonseca ) in Environmental Sciences and Farming Sustainability by Universidade Católica Dom Bosco. Filipe is Postdoctoral fellow of Post-Graduation Program in Biotechnology/INCT(Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia) by Universidade Católica Dom Bosco. He has experience in ecology, biotechnology and parasitology.

GISELE BRAZILIANO DE ANDRADE

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal Fluminense, Master degree in Veterinary Medicine at Animal Pathology field by Universidade Federal de Pelotas, and PhD in Comparative and Experimental Pathology by Universidade de São Paulo. Gisele is professor Her research is focused in the fields of Animal Pathologic Anatomy, Histopathologic Diagnosis, domestic and wild animals, and histochemistry of inflammatory processes.

GRASIELA EDITH DE OLIVEIRA PORFÍRIO PETRY

Graduated in Biological Sciences, and Master degree in Ecology and Conservation at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul. PhD in Biology (Ecology, Biodiversity and Management of Ecosystems) at Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal. Grasiela is Postdoctoral fellow of Post-Graduation Program in Environmental Sciences and Farming Sustainability from Universidade Católica Dom Bosco. She has experience in biology, ecology and conservation of terrestrial mammals from Brazilian Pantanal and Cerrado, environmental education, protected areas and environmental sustainability.

HEITOR MIRAGLIA HERRERA

First degree in Veterinary Medicine, Master degree in Veterynary Pathology, and PhD in Parasitic Biology. Heitor is professor of Universidade Católica Dom Bosco. Postdoctorate experience in transmission cycles of trypanosomatids, Parasites that cross-infected Wildlife and Livestock, Conservation Biology and One Health.

JADER DE OLIVEIRA

Graduated in Biological Sciences Bachelor and Full Degree by the University Center of Araraquara UNIARA, Master's Degree in Biosciences and Biotechnology Applied to Pharmacy by Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2015). He has a PhD in the Laboratory of Parasitology at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Araraquara - UNESP. He has experience in taxonomy of groups of Reduviidae (emphasis in Triatominae), curation of entomological collections, survey (methodologies of collection and processing of samples) and inventory of entomofauna and systematic and evolution of Triatominae.

LUIZ GUSTAVO RODRIGUES OLIVEIRA SANTOS

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Federal University of Santa Catarina, obtained his master's degree in Ecology and Conservation at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul and his PhD in Ecology at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.  Currently, he is professor in the Ecology Department from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul. Gustavo has broad interests in Ecology. He has dedicated much of his efforts in understanding animal populations (demography and movement).

First degree in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Estadual Paulista - Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Master degree in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Estadual Paulista. PhD in Veterinary Medicine  (Preventive Veterinary Medicine concentration area) in the same institution, with sandwich period at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Post-Doctorate at the State University of São Paulo. Marcos is professor at UNESP/Jaboticabal. He has experience in Veterinary Medicine, with emphasis in Veterinary Parasitology, working mainly in the molecular characterization and serological diagnosis of agents transmitted by arthropod vectors in domestic and wild animals.

PhD in Environmental Sciences and Farming Sustainability at Universidade Católica Dom Bosco. Paula is professor of Universidade Católica Dom Bosco. Paulas has experience on the zoology field, with emphasis at Herpetology, acting mainly on the themes: Snakes, Laboratory Animals, Venomous Animals, Environmental Education, Biotechnology and Ethnozoology.

PAULO HENRIQUE DUARTE CANÇADO

Veterinarian by Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Master Degree and PhD in Sciences by Postgraduate Course in Veterinary Sciences/UFRRJ. He is researcher at Embrapa Gado de Corte, and has experience in Parasitology and parasitological diseases, with emphasis in Ixodology. He is one of the coordinators of the STAR-IDAZ (Global Strategic Alliances for the Coordination of Research on the Major Infections Diseases of Animals and Zoonosis) acting as coordinator of Americas branch. He acts in the fields of Animal Health / Parasitology, with interest on the themes: Research management; Parasitology; Cattle Farming; Ectoparasites.

PEDRO FERNÁNDEZ-LLARIO

Director of Ingulados, he is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Extremadura. He has worked with different research groups of the University of Extremadura, where he did his Doctoral Thesis on "Ecology of the wild boar in the Doñana National Park", with the VISAVET, of the Complutense University of Madrid, the SEFAs of the Autonomous University of Barcelona or with the University of Surrey. He has participated in 12 competitive research projects and 14 research contracts with private companies and public administrations, related to biology, ethology, hunting management and sanitation of game species.

PILAR GONÇALVES

Doctor in Biological Sciences from the University of Salamanca, she is a specialist in the development of management tools for hunting ungulates, an area in which she completed her Doctoral Thesis directed by Drs. Concha Mateos and Pedro Fernández-Llario. Currently, in Ingulados, he is responsible for the Support Service for Hunting Management.

REINALDO FRANCISCO FERREIRA LOURIVAL

Biologist and Master degree in Ecology, Conservation and Management of Wild Life by Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. PhD in Systematic Planning to Conservation by Queensland University, Australia. He is a member of Nature and Culture International. He has experience in the Ecology field, quantitative decision support systems; zoology, with emphasis in Conservation and Management of Wild Life. Working mainly at systematic conservation planning, on the following themes: Wetlands, Pantanal, dynamics of ecosystems conservation, biodiversity and systematic zoning, Biosphere reserves.

ROSARIO CERRATO

Responsible of the R + D + I INGULADOS Department. She is a PhD in Veterinary Medicine and a Licentiate in Biochemistry. He completed his Doctoral thesis in the Department of Animal Health of the University of Extremadura and his Postdoctoral training at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, France. Later she worked as a project manager of the Network of Research Groups "Recursos Faunísticos" of the University of Extremadura, and is currently working in the company Innovation in Management and Conservation of Ungulados SL, where she deals with the R + D + I, collaborating with different entities in the realization of research projects related to the management and health of hunting and domestic species.

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal Fluminense. Graduated in Marine Biology and Biology at Famath (Niterói, RJ), post-graduated in Environmental Planning / Environmental Education (Instituto de Geociencias – UFF), post-graduated in Biology (UFLA), Master degree in Veterinary Medicine (Veterinary Pathology/Ornithopathology) at UFF. Master degree in Environmental Science (Instituto de Geociencias – UFF, and PhD in Veterinary Medicine (Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover in partnership with the German Primate Center – DPZ, Göttingen). Associate professor of Universidade Federal Fluminense.

WALDO GARCÍA

Dr. in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Extremadura where he specialized in bovine tuberculosis and the implication of wild reservoirs in the epidemiology of the disease. Later he continued his postdoctoral training at the Surrey University (United Kingdom) and is currently working in Ingulados Research, collaborating with different entities in the realization of research projects.

WALFRIDO MORAES TOMAS

Currently works at the Embrapa Pantanal, Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA). Walfrido does research in Ecology and Conservation, mainly in the Pantanal wetland. He also collaborate in projects elsewhere in Brazil, such as 'PPBio Rede Mata Atlântica: Mata Atlântica: ações para integrar pesquisas e instituições' project. His main interests are mammal and bird ecology and conservation, impact evaluation, monitoring, biodiversity management and public policies.
